In these terms and conditions we also refer to Hire Me Handbags as : “HMH” “we” “us” “our”
These terms and conditions apply when you use this website www.hiremehandbags.com.au and also when you hire bags through our website.

SUBMITTING AN ORDER
Our Handbags are 100% authentic
When placing an order with us you will be required to upload a copy of your drivers license or other acceptable photo identification to confirm your address
When placing an order with HMH and using our website your represent and warrant that
1; you are over 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to us, if you are younger a parent or guardian must place the order
2; you are authorized to use the credit or debit card your provide for your order


HIRE PERIOD


All hires are for a 4 day period
Hire must start on a Friday and end on a Monday
Delivered on Friday and returned on Monday
All NSW residents please ensure your hire is placed by 12pm Wednesday to ensure delivery by Friday. customers in all other states and territories are required to place their orders by 12pm Tuesday if delivery is required by Friday.
All bags are express posted via Australia Post. The customer accepts that HMH is not responsible for any delay caused by Australia Post and is not entitled to a refund if the bag is received later than desired.
If you would like to hire a bag for a mid week event or for a last minute event email us on info@hiremehandbags.com.au or alternatively dm our Instagram so we can arrange this for you
If your Sydney based pick up/ drop off is available also


DELIVERY & RETURNS
All orders in NSW must be placed by Wednesday 12pm AEST (Australian eastern Sydney time ) customers in all other states and territories are required to place their orders by 12pm Tuesday if delivery is required by Friday.
All products will be delivered to you with a dust bag and a return pre paid satchel
Tracking will be provided for you to track your order
Delivery date is when the parcel status is delivered whether with the carrier or post office.
Return date is when the customer has lodged the bag in person at the post office,the customer must return the bag via the pre-paid, pre-filled, Australia Post Express Post Satchel provided and notify HMH with a tracking number before 2pm by sending a photo of the receipt to our email or dm us
You must not under any circumstances return a product using an Australia Post postbox it must be done in person to be scanned and receive a tacking number/receipt
Customer needs to re package the bag to ensure it’s protected and subject to minimal damage and return the way it arrived, as the customer will be liable for any damage made via transit if it is not packed and protected the same way it arrived
The agreement of hire will cease a soon as the product is returned


DAMAGES
The customer will be responsible and liable for any damages that occurred during the hire period
If the bag is noticeably damaged the customer will be charged for the cost to repair the bag.
If the bag is lost,stolen or significantly damaged (to were we can not rehire the bag) while in possession of the customer the customer will be required to pay the recommended retail value of the bag listed on the website
The Customer will be contacted in writing and advised of the amount owing, Within 48hours of having contacted the Customer,HMH will then either attempt to charge the customers card for the damage fees and/or commence debt recovery action against the customer unless stated otherwise

If you receive your bag and it is damaged you must notify and contact us at HMH within 6 hours from when you picked up the bag or when the bag was delivered to you, we expect a full description of the damages and would like you to provide images.
If we are not notified in that time frame you will be liable as there was no known damage prior to you receiving it


LATE FEE
The customer will be liable for a penalty fee of $50 per day for everyday the bag is returned or posted late(payment required within 48hours)
No amount of additional costs paid will limit or otherwise affect your obligation to return the bag to us. The bag will be deemed a non return after 14 days and the customer will be charged the recommended retail price of the item.
If penalties are not paid by the customer, legal proceedings may be initiated.

REFUND/EXCHANGE/CANCELLATION
A cancellation fee of $30 is required if for any reason you have to cancel your hire with us.
All cancellations must be done 7 days prior to your hire start date, an order can not be cancelled after that

We do not offer a refund, credit or exchange for change of mind or due to cancellation of an event once the hired item has been picked up, shipped or despatched once this is done the order is binding and cannot be cancelled by you.


CANCELATION BY US
HMH reserve the right to cancel your order for any reason, such as;
1;The bag damaged/lost/stolen by customer that hired prior to you.
2;If it is Impossible to deliver the bag on time for your hire period due to a previous customers late return.
3;Or if there are any postage delays.
HMH will notify you as soon as possible
If payment is already debited HMH will refund the full amount to your original method of payment.


PAYMENT
All prices on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) payment can be made through credit card platforms.
Payments will take place in the form of one of the following; Mastercard,visa,PayPal
We reserve the right to charge credit card surcharges in the event that payments are made using a credit card, debit or charge card( including visa/Mastercard)
In the event we charge additional fees under theses terms (including late fees)and you agree that we can charge these fees to the payment method you provided at checkout

CARE OF PRODUCTS
The customer will be liable for any damage to the bag caused during the hire period, including, any scratches, stains, marks, rips or discolouration. You acknowledge and agree that if you are carrying any item that may dirty the inside of the bag (eg:makeup) you are required to put the item(s) in a plastic bag before placing inside the bag.under no circumstances are you to attempt to clean the bag yourself with any chemicals, or have the bag cleaned by anyone else.
The customer must not sub hire the bag
The customer must not pass possession of the bag to any other person
  


LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we completely exclude any liability or where liability cannot be excluded, we limit our liability to $100 to any person for loss or damage of any kind, however arising whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, equity, indemnity or otherwise, arising from or relating in any way to this Website, these terms or any good (including the products) or services provided by us. 
This agreement is not intended to limit the operation of the Australian Consumer Law contained in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (ACL). Under the ACL, you may be entitled to certain remedies (like a refund, replacement or repair) if there is a failure with the goods or services we provide.


By entering into the Agreement of Hire, the customer agrees to the following:
That the Customer is bound to the entirety of the Terms and Conditions that HMH has set out;
That the Customer’s failure to make payments for Stolen or Damaged Hired item will warrant HMH to notify the Police and/or Debt Collector to prosecutor and/or recover the owing amount; and
That the Terms and Conditions may be subject to change at any time, thus, the Customer must read the Terms and Conditions each and every time a new Agreement of Hire is made with HMH
